Julie Smith
My name is Julie Smith, and my husband Steve and I have been married for 40 years. And in those 40 years we’ve had lots of sex! But, if I were to be completely honest, it wasn’t always great sex. It took us years to truly get to the place where sex became more than physical and took on the all-encompassing, transforming power God designed for the union to be. While I understood the purity message supported by the church, I had no idea what to do with the 50 years of sex after marriage that was laid before me.
On my own journey over the last several decades, I have done much research, and while there may be some good sources for strengthening marriages available, I found little God-honoring material that answered my sex questions or gave me detailed instructions on how to get from point A to point B in my sex life. I didn’t want to read another book that told me about my duty as a wife and how my pleasure was secondary or only came from one source. I did not want to hear again about submitting to my husband on sex even if I did not want to engage. I felt there had to be more! I felt that God designed sex for the COUPLE, not just for the male and it was meant to be enjoyed. And you know what? He did!
Now, I am on a mission to awaken couples from all over the world to what their intimacy can be and to help them shed the shame and ignorance regarding sex we often find in Christian circles. Join me!

Steve Smith
Well, I never thought I would be married to an intimacy coach/ instructor, but here I am LIVING THE DREAM! I will say that when she learns of new things that strike her fancy she comes home ready to try them out.....What a deal!
As mentioned previously, Julie and I have been married for 40 years and we have learned a lot about each other. Long-term monogamy is just paradise in my opinion. You get to know someone else like the back of your hand. God knew what He was doing is all I can say. While Julie is the instructor and coach, I provide the technical support behind the scenes, biblical interpretation, occasional idea generation as well as some instruction directed to male leadership in general and in the marriage bed. I contribute during the Q&A and will answer any questions directed to me.
I am very thankful for my marriage, my children, and the life that God has given me. I am also a cancer survivor. Events like that help focus us on what is actually important.
